Tonight at 9 pm, Big B will be asking the very first KBC 12 question on Sony Entertainment Television. After this, there will be a new question presented by Mr. Bachchan every night till May 22. To register themselves for KBC Season 12, the candidates need to answer these questions correctly via SMS or through SonyLIV app.

Register for Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 12 via Sony Liv App:
- Open the Sonylive app
- Click on the KBC link
- Answer the registration question that pops up.
- Fill in your details on the form that appears.
- Click on submit
You will know the process is completed when a message flashes on the screen saying ‘Thank you for completing your KBC registration’
Register for Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 12 via SMS:
- Megastar Amitabh Bachhan will announce questions at 9 pm on Sony TV from today (May 9)
- Sending the SMS will charge Rs 3 (except on Jio phones)
- Complete the process in the given timeline
- Subscribers of Airtel, BSNL, IDEA, Jio & Vodafone in select circles can send their registration question answer via SMS to 509093:
SMS format: KBC, Option A, B, C or D, Age, Gender
If your answer is option A, and you are 23 years and 8 months old, and are a female; you will need to SMS: KBC A 23 F.
Participants, who have answered the registration questions correctly and have been shortlisted by the randomizer based on certain pre-defined reservation criteria, will be reached out to, telephonically, for further assessment.
Due to the nationwide lockdown imposed to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus, the entire selection process will be carried out online.
For the first time in the history of KBC, the auditions comprising a General Knowledge test and video submission will be conducted exclusively via SonyLIV.
After the online auditions, personal interviews will be conducted of the shortlisted auditionees via video calls.
Announcing the commencement of the registration process, Big B had earlier shared a video on Twitter. He wrote, “Ji.. its coming back to you again soon”
In the video, the actor says, “Har cheez ko break lag sakta. Nukkad ki chai ko, chai pe hone wali hello hi ko. Sadko ke sath yaari ko, triple seat sawari ko, har cheez ko break lag sakta hai. Office wali chakri ko, aadhi raat ki tafri ko, shopping mall ke pyaar ko, chaurahe ke yaar ko, har cheez ko break lag sakta hai. Online KBC 2020 Registration Process
Candidates can use the SonyLiv application for IOS / Android mobiles, Jio Phone for Registration. Applicants can complete the registration process through calls or SMS and need to submit all details before the last date.
Answer through SMS
▶ First Round – SMS KBC A/B/C/D to 509093
▶ Acknowledgment message will be sent as “Thanks”. KBC will contact with selected candidates in 5 Days. T&Cs will apply and Rs3/SMS Charges.
Answer through IVR
▶ Call on 5052525 and then select option 01/02/03/04 (ie call option 5052525 – 01 for option A, 02 for option B, 03 for option C and 04 for option D).
▶ IVR first welcomed the participant and asked them to select Language 1 for English and 2 for Hindi.
▶ Then the person has to type the number for gender (1 for male, 2 for female, and 3 for others).
▶ Then submit the age in the years to be completed by June 2020.
▶ With thank you note/playback option IVR will end.
▶ A thank you message will confirm the registrants if they are selected they will be contacted by the show team.
