Age Limit

• Minimum Limit: Minimum age limit for recruitment is 19 years.

Educational Qualifications

Maharashtra Police Job Written Test Qualifying Details

Candidates securing a minimum of 35% marks (33% marks in respect of Backward Class Category candidates) in the Written Test shall be eligible to be called to appear for a Physical Test in the ratio of 1: 10 of the vacancies advertised in the respective categories. If, for example, there are 10 vacancies in the Scheduled Cast Category and 5 vacancies in the Scheduled Tribes category, then 100 (10 x 10 = 100 ) candidates will be listed on merit in the Scheduled Cast category and 50 ( 5 x 10 = 50 ) candidates, will be listed in the Scheduled Tribes category, however, All candidates in the scheduled cast category who have secured the same marks as the Scheduled Caste Candidates at the 100 rank shall be eligible to be called to appear for a Physical Test. Similarly, All Scheduled Tribes category candidates who have secured the same marks as the Scheduled Tribes candidates ranking 50th rank will be eligible to be called to appear for a Physical Test
