The All India Council Of Technical Education starts the online registration process for the Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) for 10+2 Students of JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH for the academic year 2020-2021.

The registration process schedule from July 6 2020 for the Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme for the students of class 12 from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Prime Minister of India announces special student scholarships for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. The financial help for academic fee provided up to 30,000, and hostel finance help up to Rs 1 lakh per annum

Eligibility For PMSSS

Eligibility criteria under the J&K PMSSS Scholarship scheme:
1 Domicile Must be domicile of J&K.
2 Education Must have passed 10+2 examination from J&K Board or CBSE
school located in J&K.
3 Income The family income from all sources for the Financial Year 2016-17
should not be more than Rs. 6.0 Lakh per annum.
4 Only those willing to study outside the State of J&K.

PMSSS Scholarship Amount

The following types of fee will be reimbursed subject to maximum of ceiling:

J&K PMSSS Scholarship for COMMERCE Streame

There is no scholarship for commerce stream students its only for technical students, but you are eligible for Commerce stream under General course approved
by section 12(B) of U.G.C. Information is available at:

J&K PMSSS Document Verification

without documents verification at Facilitation Centre, student is not
eligible for Scholarship. A list of Facilitation Centres are available in AICTE
website

J&K PMSSS For Medical Courses

there is no counselling for Medical Stream with Biology. However, the candidate who seeks admission in any of the courses in Medical Stream (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, etc.) on his/her own merit within the sanctioned intake in any of the institutions recognized by the respective Regulatory Bodies & located outside the State of J&K is eligible to avail the
benefit of scholarship under this scheme based on the merit at class 10+2 & after qualifying NEET examination. The number of seats available under the medical stream & documents are to be verified in any of the facilitation
centres. They also need to attend counselling for marking attendance only and showing admission proof.

J&K PMSSS Post Application Process

Take printout of online filled application and visit your nearest facilitation
centre along with original documents & one set of self attested photocopies
(Xerox) of all original documents for document verification as or when the
centres open.
