TANCET 2020 Eligibility
For MBA programme, candidate must have completed his/her graduation from a recognized university in any discipline.
For MCA programme, candidate must be a graduate with mathematics as a subject in graduation or at 10+2 level
For all other courses, candidates should have completed their B.Tech/B.E. from a recognized university in the relevant field
Those candidates who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE are also eligible for TANCET 2020
Candidate must have secured at least 50 per cent marks (open category) and 45 per cent(reserved category) in the Bachelor’s degree exam
There is no age restriction in TANCET 2020

Anna University has outlined the TANCET MBA syllabus, as following. It is divided into five sections – Business Analysis, Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Sufficiency and General English

TANCET Exam Centres
TANCET 2020 is expected to be held across 15 cities in Tamil Nadu. Candidates will be required to enter their preferences for exam centres while filling the application form. TANCET exam centres are allotted to candidates as per their preferences. In case seats are not available in a particular city, candidates are allotted a different exam centre.

TANCET Admission Process
Step 1: Application process
The online application process is underway. The application form, which is common for all the courses, can be filled in four simple steps – registration, filling other details in the form, uploading photograph and signature and fee payment.
Step 2: Admit card
After the registration process is over, candidates are issued TANCET admit card for appearing in the exam. Only successfully registered candidates are issued admit cards by the examination authorities. Candidates have to download TANCET admit card from the official website by logging in with the required credentials.
Step 3: TANCET exam
All registered candidates are required to appear in the entrance exam. TANCET question paper carries MCQ based questions that candidates have to solve within 2 hours.
Step 4: Announcement of TANCET Result
TANCET results are announced online. TANCET 2020 result will be declared on March 20 on the official website of Anna University. To check result, candidates need to log in with their registered email ID and password. The marksheet displays the sectional and overall marks/percentiles. Qualified candidates have to participate in counselling for admission to MTech/ MArch/ MPlan/ ME/MBA and MCA courses.
Step 5: Counselling & Admission
TANCET Counselling is conducted for offering admissions to candidates in various programmes. To appear for TANCET counselling, qualified candidates need to first register by paying the requisite fees. Seats are allotted to candidates as per their institute preferences, rank in the merit list, cutoff and branches. Candidates who are allotted seats need to pay the requisite fees to secure their admission
