Shawn Mendes is taking a break from his show to concentrate on his mental well-being.

The musician announced that he would be moving back dates for his forthcoming shows on The Wonder World Tour. Wonder World Tour.

It hurts me to have to tell you that, but unfortunately, I'll need to delay for the next 3 weeks of performances in Uncasville, CT until further announcement."

He said that the singer has "been traveling since I was 15 , and since then, it's been hard to travel far from family and friends."

Mendes stated that because he'd taken "a few years of a break" in his touring schedule "I thought 

I would be ready to jump back into it but it was not wise and the road has taken its toll and the pressure have taken its toll on me and I've reached an impasse."

"After having a conversation with my health team and other professionals I'm now able to find time to recover and take care of my mental health in the first place.

When there are any more updates, I'll inform you that I am in love with you all," he concluded.

To promote his album for 2020, Wonder, Mendes kicked off his world tour in Portland, Oregon, on the 27th of June.

The singer was scheduled to resume with his show in St. Paul, Minnesota on Saturday. The last concert he had to postpone at Uncasville, Connecticut, was scheduled for the 29th of July.

In an open Instagram post that was shared on December 12, the Grammy nominated singer admitted to his fans and admitted to having the "hard time using social media right now."

He thanked his fans for their support of his latest track, "It'll Be Okay," which he dropped within a few weeks of breaking up with his girlfriend of 2 years Camila Cabello.
