STET Exam 2020 Cancelled: The Bihar STET 2020 Exam has been cancelled by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB).

The investigation committee which was tasked with the job of probing the cases of irregularities and paper leak during the BSEB STET 2020 Exam held on 28th January 2020 this year. Today, the investigation committee released its report and suggested cancellation of BSTET Exam 2019 which was held in January month.

The committee has also asked the BSEB to hold the reexamination exam at a later date. According to the report submitted by the committee,  there were several irregularities including an allegation of paper leaks that were made against the conduct of the Bihar STET 2020 exam.

According to press release the Bihar Board has admitted that the Bihar STET 2020 Question paper was leaked during the examination on 28th January 2020. During the examination, the question paper for Bihar STET 2019 exam was leaked via Mobile. Furthermore, all papers of Social Science subject were kept in a single group which was another lapse on the part of the board.

The exam was held at 319 exam centers across the state on 28th January 2020. The exam was held in two separate sessions in which a total of 2,47 lakh students had participated. Of this, the total number of students who participate in the first session was 1,81,738 while in the second session, 65,530 students had appeared for the exam.

With the cancelation of Bihar STET 2020 exam, the fate of these students again hangs in balance.
