YSR Zero Interest Scheme 2020
Jagan Mohan Reddy (CM of Andhra Pradesh) has launched the YSR Zero Interest Loan Scheme on 24 April 2020 during the COVID-19 Lockdown period. Andhra Pradesh Government has started the YSR Zero Interest Loan Scheme for Self-help groups and DWCRA Women Associations. AP Govt. has to implement the scheme on 27th April 2020. Under the scheme, 1400 crore has been deposited in the bank accounts of 8.78 lakh self-help groups (SHGs). Women SHG members can avail a loan of Rs. 20,000-40,000 per year under this scheme. 91 lakh women SHG members will get the benefit of this scheme, out of which 6.95 lakh SHGs are in rural areas. Chief Minister YS Jagan is fulfilling his promises despite a crisis like a coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic. The Chief Minister has started the scheme by formally transferring money of Rs. 1400 crore online to reimburse the interest amount on the loan. Under this scheme, funds have been transferred electronically to 8,78,874 accounts of DWCRA groups under the jurisdiction of SERP and MEPMA. A total of 90,37,254 women members will benefit from this scheme.

- The Chief Minister has concluded that the entire school expenses will be paid for the students. About 11.50 lakh students will be benefited from this scheme.
