UP Board REDUCED syllabus for 2020-21: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad will be reduced the UP Board syllabus for the 2020-21 academic session. UP Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma stated that the UP Board syllabus will be minimized due to the COVID-19 situation Uttar Pradesh state. 

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad officials are in a discussion for reducing the syllabus for the academic year 2020 2021. As per the suggestions from the Board officials, the final decision will be made by the UP Board .

Reducing the syllabus only for the next academic year only 2020 21. the new syllabus details provided to the students after the final decision is made in this regard

Other State Board reducing Syllabus

Earlier, CBSE Board revised the syllabus 2020-21. The decision to revise the curriculum has been made due to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic which has seen a huge loss of classroom teaching.

Other State Boards, Rajasthan Board is all set to reduce the RBSE syllabus 2020-21. The State Education Minister, Govind Singh Dotsara tweeted that the Board will be minimizing the RBSE syllabus for this year.

The syllabus has been rationalized with the help of suggestions from NCERT. A CBSE notification said that the deleted portions of the CBSE syllabus will not be included in the internal assessments of the year-end board exams.

Prior to this, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) also announced a reduction of up to 25 percent in the syllabus for classes 10 and 12 board exams in 2021 taking into account the learning disruption due to closure of schools during the coronavirus-induced lockdown
