The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education on Monday declared that the results of class 10 annual regular summer zone witnessed 5 percent rise as compared to 2019.
“J&K BOSE declares 10th Class Annual Regular Summer Zone Results. From last year’s 65 per cent, pass percentage goes up to 70 percent. Both government and private schools have improved their performance,” the Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Jammu and Kashmir tweeted.
“Advisor K K Sharma congratulated students on the result and urged them to make the best possible use of available resources,” read the tweet.
The tweet added: “He appreciated tireless effort by JKBOSE team working as COVID warriors amidst challenges.”

Key Statistical Highlights
Along with publishing the JKBOSE 10th Result 2020 for Jammu Division, the board also released the key highlights and statistics for the same. The overall pass percentage for Class 10 Results stood at 70%. According to the brief shared by the JKBOSE, a total of 28111 students from government schools had appeared for the JKBOSE Class 10 Board Exam 2020 held in Feb – March of which 15708 students have cleared the exam with flying colours. This takes the overall pass percentage for JKBOSE 10th Result 2020 for govt schools to 55.88%. On similar lines, for private schools, a total of 25696 students appeared for the exam, of which 21750 cleared the test taking the pass percentage to 84.64.

The distribution of physical marksheets and result certificates will be done at a later date in a staggered form through respective schools.
