On February 2nd, 2021 the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the UGC NET 2021 Exam date, The application form to apply for the 2021 NET Examination is now Open.
NET is a competitive examination conducted by NTA for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship, Get a good merit in NET examination gives a candidate ELIGIBILITY To get a professor job all over India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) Conducting the NET Examination twice every year in December and June. December 2020 NET Examination is postponed to May due to the covid lockdown in India.
NTA now ready to conduct the NGC Net Examination in may, they already announced the UGC NET Exam Date 2021 from May 2 onwards on the ugc net 2021 official website. The Examination authorities of NTA prepare the exam centre allowing process. As expected this year more than 25% extra candidates applied for the NET Examination. Due to Covid 19 and Social Distancing in the Exam hall, there will be a 50% occupancy in every exam center. So the authorities have a new challenge to find a new examination center that will provide a good environment to conduct this National Level Examination.
By visiting the official download links given in the above section candidates can download their admit card using their roll number , The roll number is allot to candidates by the examination server while the application process. Every candidate who applied for the eligibility test must verify the examination center and their own identity. If there are any changes in the identity of the candidate they have a chance to made correction if the details in application candidates provide is correct. If the candidates made a mistake in the application then there is no chance to correct the admit card. Those candidates are not eligible to write the examination with the wrong Admit card

UGC NET Distance Education Degree Holders
There is a confusion with the Distance Education Degree Holders whether they are eligible for the test or not. NTA already released the UGC net 2021 notification about this problem. Candidates who study through Distance Educations are allowed to apply for this UGC NET Examination 2021, But they must study under the Recognised Institution or Recognised Universities only.

UGC NET 2021 Application Form
- You must read the UGC NET 2021 Notification Fully
- Duly fill the application form through online mode from 2nd February 2021
- Use your primary Email and Mobiel number for Registration ( There is no change in primary email id after the final submit)
- You have to fill in your personal information on the first page
- You have to fill in the reservation details in the second section
- If you have any special reservation such as maximum age you must upload the prior certificates
- Candidates must upload the latest photograph and signature
- Pay the online fee as soon as the application process done
- Be sure about all the information you filled in before you submit the application.
- Verify the uploaded certificates by download them and view in your devices whether they are clear to read or not
- Take a print out of your application and store the Login Credentials in a safe area
Application Fee
- For UR and general candidates, the application fee is 1000 INR
- For General – EWS, OBC, and NCL Candidates the application fee is 500
- For ST – SC-PWD – Transgender Candidates the application fee is 250
You have to pay the application fee through online mode only, there is no refund policy so you must declare the application before pay for the exam fee.

- NTA scheduled the Correction process date is 5th to 9th March 2021 only
- Candidates can make corrections during the correction process dates
- Correction will be made through the online mode only
- Candidates can made corrections on the Editable Fields Only
- If candidates have mistakes in the Noneditable Field They must raise a grievance in the NTA PORTAL
